Open an Account

To open an Entity TreasuryDirect account, you need:

1. A Taxpayer Identification Number

   (Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number for an entity)

2. Authority to act as an entity account manager for the entity.
3. A United States Address of Record

   for the entity and the entity account manager

4. A Checking or Savings Account

   You'll need to know your account and routing numbers.

5. An E-mail Address

   (e.g., YourName@abc.com)

6. IRS Name Control

   (see definition)

7. A Web Browser That Supports 128-Bit Encryption
