How Do I?: A Guide for Savings Bond Owners

Find easy to follow lists of what you need to submit in order to file a claim for lost, stolen, or destroyed savings bonds, cash (redeem) a savings bond, reissue a savings bond, or distribute savings bonds from an estate or trust to entitled persons.

Savings Bonds Calculator (paper bonds only)

Find out what your paper bonds are worth today with our online Calculator. You can price paper bonds of these series: EE, E, I, and savings notes.  Also, you can build an inventory and check your bonds’ values over and over without reentering the information. The Calculator also shows the current interest rate, next accrual date, final maturity date, year-to-date interest earned, and previous rates and values dating as far back as January 1996.

Notes: 1) The Calculator is for paper bonds only. To learn the value of your electronic bonds, log in to your TreasuryDirect account. 2) The Calculator won't save your inventory of bonds if you're using either of these browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge.
